Or do I need to spell it out for you?

I do not have insurance.  My doctor (paid by the state because of my low income) says I need to have a procedure done.  The scheduling department says there are “lots of programs” out there to help people who can’t afford to have procedures done.  We make too much money to qualify.  Since I would be paying out-of-pocket for the procedure, I do qualify for a 40% reduction in the cost of the procedure, bringing the cost from $2,421.41 to $1,452.88, which is more than I typically make in a month.

I’m glad we have revolutionized the health care system.

I’m pissed.  I’m going to quit writing now before I say something I will regret.
