TR2N
by crazyskills on Jul.22, 2009, under announcement, tech
New Tron movie coming out in 2011? We shall see. IMDB link [imdb.com]. Wikipedia has this to say:
“TRON” is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous
Teaser [youtube.com] filmed on a handycam at ComicCon - just the same it gives me chills!
Music score by none other than Daft Punk.

How many times have you argued with someone about what to have for dinner when both of you were too apathetic to actually come to a decision? Well now you can skip the banal conversation with The What-Do-You-Want-For-Dinner-I-Don’t-Know-What-Do-You-Want? Dialog Generator and start eating!
Ruining Beer
by crazyskills on Jul.22, 2009, under announcement
Did some research today and have discovered that temperature does not ruin beer. You can take cold beer, store it at room temperature, chill it back again and then drink it and it will be fine. What does destroy (skunk) beer is SUNLIGHT. So basically, if you have a metal keg, you’re good to go regardless; but sometimes buying beer at say a drive through will yield skunked beer. Also this verifies my previous concern that green-bottled beer is more likely to have gone bad than brown-bottled beer (as the green glass lets more sunlight in.)
So no worries about keeping beer cold once you have chilled it, but keep it out of the sunlight!
