Space Aliens Abduct Teachers

Really funny story on slashdot [slashdot.org] today about a (prank?) teachers pulled on their students. It seems they staged a UFO landing outside the school afterwhich aliens invaded the school and abducted teachers [telegraph.co.uk].
“A parent who wished to remain anonymous said, ‘God only knows what the school was playing at. I mean, to shock children into thinking that the aliens have landed and have abducted a teacher is just a little too much for seven-year-olds.’”
Me? I think it hilarious. I think maybe they went a little far, but these kids will remember this experience for a long time. It appears the point of it all was to “develop youngsters’ writing skills.”
