By the end of the year, we’ll be looking at DirectX 11 from Microsoft. ATI today announced their plans for and demoed their first-generation DX11-enabled GPUs. Interesting features include something called a “tessellator” which gives objects more organic and less blocky appearance. Check this site [techfragments.com] with videos of the new technologies. An interesting point is that the ATI 4800 series of cards already support tessellators; we just need the DirectX to handle it. Great news for those of us with an investment on this excellent hardware. I wonder how much of DirectX 11 is going to be supported by the 4800 series cards. We shall see, and we will keep you updated!

This is just amazing.. Ronaldinho, the first few minutes with his new shoes.. It is just unbelievable to me that anyone can have such skill. Definitely worth watching, even if you’re not a soccer fan..
